Maemo marathon: win a Nokia N900 communicator
Our first (and hopefully not the last) marathon is over. The number of letters received, taking into account the fact that according to the conditions of the competition they had to be sent 10 pieces to each participant, was in the thousands. Trouble added the second question, which, we admit, was not quite correct. Therefore, the jury of the competition made a courageous and at the same time fair decision not to take into account the answers to the second question and to allow any answer to the second question to be included in the prize draw. In total, about 250 participants were allowed to fight for the main prize of our competition – the Nokia N900 communicator, who sent correct answers to 9 questions. And the prize itself went to our reader Evgeny Kvitchenko from the city of Nikopol, Dnepropetrovsk region. This is already the sixth competition on our website, in which Evgeny took part. The gg editorial team sincerely thanks all the participants of the competition, congratulates Evgeny on his victory and is waiting for him to visit us to present the prize and publish the report on our website!
As you know, Nokia N900 is very different from most mobile phones. This is a smartphone that allows you to simultaneously work with several https://jiji.co.ke/40-bicycles/electric applications. This is a communicator equipped with a QWERTY keyboard, which allows the user to more comfortably type simple texts when working with e-mail, replying to comments or simply leaving a message on their favorite site. Finally, this is a device running the Maemo operating system developed by Nokia, the world leader in the industry. All this makes the N900 unique, so we would like to dwell on its capabilities in more detail. And to make it more interesting, we also want to play this device among our readers.
Because the Nokia N900 is the first mass-market device to use Maemo, we want to take a closer look at the capabilities of this operating system by organizing our Maemo marathon for you. Every weekday from 7 to 18 June we will publish one part of it, which tells about the features of Nokia N900 and Maemo. All materials will end with a multiple-choice question, by answering which you will be able to take part in the drawing of the Nokia N900 communicator. At the same time, every day, among those who sent the correct answer, we will draw one incentive prize from Nokia – a summer bag with company symbols.
The contest is held for visitors of our site living in Ukraine. To participate in the contest, you need to send 10 correct answers to all questions of our Maemo-marathon. We accept answers by e-mail to our address [email protected] Pay attention to several important conditions – for each question you need to send a separate letter, this will help to process all the answers sent faster. Each letter should have a heading like “Maemo marathon. Question №*”, where instead of an asterisk there should be a question number from 1 to 10. The very first letter must contain the last name, first name and city of the sender, and all 10 letters must be sent from the same address. Participants who do not fulfill these conditions do not take part in the draw. You can join our Maemo marathon any day from June 7th to 20th, but you still need to send a separate letter for each question, even if all the questions have already been published. Accordingly, incentive prizes are drawn only among those who sent letters on that day. Therefore, in order to increase the chances of winning an incentive (but not the main) prize, it is better to send 1 letter on the day the question is published. The main prize of the Maemo-marathon – Nokia N900 is raffled among all those who sent 10 correct answers in 10 letters. The winner will be announced on Monday June 21st. And he himself will be invited to our editorial office to present the prize. Marathon participants who won incentive prizes are announced the next day in the publication of a new question.
The full list of questions with hyperlinks to materials and the list of winners is constantly updated on this page. The gg team wishes good luck and have fun to all the participants of our Maemo marathon.
